Day 5
All-day Golf & Wine Experience at Waterford Estate – including morning golf at De Zalze Golf Course,
lunch at the Golf Club (on clients’ own account) and wine drive at Waterford Estate.
Experience golf and wine the Waterford way. Spend a day in the Stellenbosch Winelands playing golf at the signature De Zalze golf course and
visiting Waterford Estate for the ultimate wine experience.
A safari type game viewing Landrover has been fitted out with bucket seats (maximum of 10 pax per trip) to take guests around the 120-hectare
property that is situated on the slopes of the beautiful Helderberg Mountain in the Stellenbosch region – the undisputed wine capital of South Africa.
Waterford Estate has chosen to use only half of the total land for the planting of vines, in order to preserve and maintain the natural flora
and fauna of the beautiful Blaauwklippen (blue stone) valley. As part of our biodiversity program, we wish to show visitors our intensions in terms
of sustainable agriculture, since we are aiming to achieve an organic approach to wine farming. The Cape is home to the largest and most spectacular
concentration of flowers and plants found anywhere on earth. It is our intention to play a small role in preserving the Cape Floral Kingdom by leaving
sections of the property untouched, while showing guests some of the Cape’s natural beauty.
Day 6
Golf at Paarl Golf Course – including return transfers and green fees.
The stunning 27-hole Paarl Golf Course is situated in the picturesque valley on the outskirts of South Africa’s third-oldest town, Paarl.
The course, first laid out on the banks of the Berg River in the 1950s, has been redesigned by Danie Obermeyer and David Frost. David Frost, a Paarl
native and still a prominent winemaker in the area, has brought local knowledge and experience gained on both the US and European professional golf
tours in assisting in the design of the course.
The Course is a unique 27-hole facility – some holes meander along the Berg River while many are tree-lined lush green channels which present
the golfer with a smooth mix of risk and reward. Water hazards are the most prominent challenge with the majority of holes having a water trap that
needs careful consideration by any golfer – even the Pro’s.

Day 7
Golf at Pearl Valley Golf Club – including return transfers and green fees.
The Pearl Valley Golf Estate is surrounded by the Simonsberg and Drakenstein Mountains and bordered by vineyards with The Berg River water hazard
running through it. The par-74 Jack Nicklaus signature-designed course is and 6,090 metres (ladies: 4,703 metres) on 212 hectares of tranquil
surroundings. The total length of the course off the championship tees is 6,749 metres, whereas the members’ length ranges from 5,878 from
the blue club tees with senior/ladies championship tees at 5,586 metres. The ladies course spans 4,706 metres. Bunkers on Nicklaus’s signature
courses are renowned for being shallow, long and relatively undaunting. Every hole is played against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains
surrounding the estate and all are challenging due to the startegically set bunkers and fast greens.
